Is there a way to display the legend horizontally rather than the default vertical?

The default legend steps on the report and Page designer cannot be modified.
We can use a Diagram TIle in the Page Designer to create a customized legend.

In a Page Designer, navigate to the Steps Tab>Tile>diagram Tiles. Select and grab the Diagram Tile to the workspace.

We will have to configure the Diagram Tile Flow.

In the Diagram Tile Flow, select the properties tab> Diagram TIle inputs>show editor add a variable of the type “LegendData” and make a list.

Now from the steps tab select and drop the Legend step from the Charts category.

Now Configure the Legend step. Under the Setting>orientation select ‘Horizontal’ and for the input map it to the flow input created earlier.

Save and Close

Back in the Page Designer, there will be an entry for an input flow. We will have to configure the input Flow for the Legend. Open the input flow and connect the Start step to the end step.

On the end step, we will configure the legend. First, select ‘Build Array”. Then we can select individual items and “build data”. This will allow us to specify the label and color. Save and Close.
