Data is persisting on switching between the tabs

Hi Team,
I have the same child report which I am using in different tabs on the same page for different parent reports. When I am switching from one tab to other and parent report does not have any data then the child report is holding the previous child report data. I have tried the "refresh options" from the behaviour properties, but it is not helping, I can still see the data, it is not getting refresh. could you please suggest how can I refresh the report or avoid the data persistency.
