Hello,
I am exploring options for the Document Viewer and looking for some more in depth information regarding PDFs. I have been trying to use various URL Parameters as outlined in the Adobe document I linked below, but only the page, view, and zoom seem to have any effect.
https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/AcrobatDC_pdf_open_parameters.pdf#page=5&view=FitIs there more we can do with the URL parameters?
Is there an alternate viewer that we can use with more settings for viewing PDFs?
Has some one else built a custom pdf viewer that we can install? Can we build a custom viewer that meets what our client is requesting? -
Hello, I have re-posted each question in bold, and the answer to each below it.
Is there more we can do with the URL parameters?
Our pdf viewer uses the browsers pdf viewing capabilities. its not built into the form control unfortunately so it’s fairly limited. Is there an alternate viewer that we can use with more settings for viewing PDFs?
Currently, the document viewer is going to house most of our features in regards to viewing PDFs and it is currently limited to the actions you see as it is leveraging the browsers ability.Has someone else built a custom pdf viewer that we can install? Can we build a custom viewer that meets what our client is requesting?
As far as I know, there are no supported 3rd party PDF viewers that I can find. What other types of actions are you looking at utilizing? We do have interactive steps that can add and extract data from the PDF as well as some other actions. I will include some documentation belowHelpful PDF documentation for decisions:
