SSL Setup Issue

Comments

  • Hi, were configuring some new servers for HTTPS/SSL, and when we attempt to log into them locally we get this error:

THE UNDERLYING CONNECTION WAS CLOSED: COULD NOT ESTABLISH TRUST RELATIONSHIP FOR THE SSL/TLS SECURE CHANNEL

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

  • There are two things that might be causing this.
[ul][li]Your certificate is invalid, or you did not follow the SSL setup doc closely enough[/li][li]Your network blocks less secure protocols like SSL 1.1 by default[/li][/ul]
To fix this, log into the servers over HTTP and navigate to Settings > Integrations Settings and change Security Option to Secure for Decisions to operate on higher SSL standards.
