Breaking an assignment lease from flow?

Breaking an assignment lease from flow?

Comments

  • When someone opens an assignment (in a process folder flow) and someone else goes to open it, it shows "Break lease by @ UserName" before you can open it. My form had to have an exit button instead of using the x on the tool bar so when it is exited it does not release it. I was wondering how I could release the lease from flow? I have tried the nodes "Release Lock" and "Break Lock" from "Integrations >> Internal Services >> Object Lock Services" and tried passing in the process folder id as well as the assignment ID (At least it is called the assignment ID in the process folder extension data. I inherited this project so I cant say for sure and dont know how to find the current assignment ID from flow)

This post has been edited to provide further information for readers. The response has been taken from existing ticket communications.

I have attached a project example export that will allow you to break the lock of any recent assignment. This can be amended to your needs and as such specific assignment IDs or an array of worked IDs could be filtered into this as an alternative.
