Hello,
I am using a wait on external system step but I am having trouble setting this to time out after a specific time. How do I do this?

Hi Karen,
To set this up you will need to navigate to your Wait on External System step. When you select this step and look at its properties you will see Assignment Setup with an edit button to the right (first screen shot). Click the edit button and scroll down to Assignment Dates and check Specify Expiration Date (second screen shot). Then next to Form Assignment Expires On change that from unknown to in future. The start time will be set to the current date time and the offset time can be set to any amount of time here (third screen shot). This will cause the flow to time out or expire after the allotted time. Now select done at the bottom and you should see a new pathway coming from your Wait on External System step (final screen shot). You can then map this to the end step of your flow. Now when that step reaches its expiration time, the flow will continue down that new pathway and end.
