Email: Getting Single Lines in HTML Merge Text

Im having troubles with my email. I want to send an email with single spaced lines. Instead, theyre sending as double spaced.

So if I want text that looks like this:
Employee Name
Employee Title
Employee Email Address.

I get this:

Employee Name

Employee Title

Employee Email.

Is there a way to correct this formatting?

One of the quickest ways to fix this is to use the HTML break tag inside the body of the Email.
Assuming youre using Merge HTML Text for the body, go to the editor. use the break tags across a single line to ensure you get the desired output.

Using the break tag and hitting enter to separate the lines will result in a double spaced email.

This also works if youre using the Plain Text Merge as well. HTML can be embedded in Plain Text.
