Hiding the Folder View Page and

• Hello,

I would like to hide the folder view page, folder actions, and the buttons that allow users to search, refresh, group-select, and change settings on a page. I would I do the above?

• To hide the folder view page and other folder actions:
- Using the Configuration Extension "Add Folder Actions and Configurations" as laid out in the forum post Hide Folder Actions On Default Folder will allow you to hide any actions besides the "Add" action.
- Set the type to "Default Folder Behavior"
- Add a visibility rule
- For Actions such as Manage and Open that hold other actions, you could use the syntax "Action.Category Is In List" and list out Mange and Open as the strings to search for.

• In the same configurations folder, select the page visibility rule action at the bottom.
• there you can filter out pages by page names, for example, you could specify the Folder View Page

Hiding the folder header actions

• Under System->Designers->Catalog->System Defaults->Folder Entities, there is a page named "Folder View page" that is used as the default page for all folders. under the view tab in its properties window, checking Hide Header will allow you to hide the buttons you referenced for all folder view tabs.
