• Is there a way to back out of the change of a form design. Example: Say if Im going from a canvas to a grid and I add a vertical stack but intended to do a horizontal stack. Ill take a undo or delete that would delete only what I mistakenly created.

I noticed that the documentation section doesnt cover any missteps or the best way to correct them. Heres the link: http://documentation.decisions.com/building-a-forms-layout/?display_cat=115

  • Ok just happen to catch your question right after I had the issue that you explained. When designing a form or changing the form design its important to click on the explorer and select surface to properly layer say a canvas to a grid or some other form design attribute. This allows it to layer properly (rule of thumb).

As it pertains to your undo/back or delete question, you can click on any form attribute and delete it. As your question stated if you add a form design element that was unintended right click on what was added and delete it. That should remove the newly added form layer.

Hope this helps, let us know if it doesnt.

  • Great question.

As it pertains to your undo/back Decisions does not currently offer an undo function/button. You can click on any form attribute and delete it. As your question stated if you add a form design element that was unintended, click on what was added in error and you should see a Actions box appear where you can delete it. You may also exit and reopen the form, if you have saved your form up to the mistake but not after.

Also, when changing the form design its important to click on the explorer and select surface to properly change say a canvas to a grid or some other form design attribute. This allows it to layer properly (rule of thumb).
