Repo checking in unwanted file references

Thank you for reaching out to support. I can see why that could be an inconvenience, I would recommend saving these files into a Public Folder instead. Any data created inside a public folder will not export with a project when checking into a repository unless configured to do so. To configure the entity to be checked in along with the project, right-click the public folder > Under Deployment > Designer Repository > Add to Deployment.

You can create a new public folder by navigating in your project > Public > Right-Click or press on the ellipses on Public Folders > Create Folder. I’d also recommend configuring permissions appropriately to avoid unauthorized access by right-clicking or pressing on the ellipses of the folder created > Permissions > Manage Permissions.
