Need approval confirmation pop up instead on webpage with details when approved directly via email
I am using approve action in email to allow users to approving a task without opening the form. This link in the email directs user to a webpage with a very verbose message which looks a lot like error message. Is there a way to customize this message or replace this with some confirmation pop up?

Hello,
You can change the text and tone of the confirmation message by editing the "Dialog Message" in the Action Definitions for the assignment. This message appears on the webpage after the user clicks the approve link in the email.
To do this:
- Edit your assignment step.
- Go to Additional Assignment Actions > Action Definitions.
- For the approve action, set the "Dialog Message" to your desired confirmation text.

This is not working for me. I am using the option of 'Links only' Email handling and when i click on the approval or Rejection link, the webpage opens with a predefined format which looks a lot like error.
Changing the dialog message doesn't help with this.

To create a customized confirmation experience—distinct from the default error-style messages—consider using a form-based assignment link rather than the "Links only" option. This approach allows you to control the confirmation message and overall user experience after an approval or rejection. Here’s how you can implement this:
1. In your assignment step, set the Notification Policy to Custom.
2. Customize the assignment notification email to include the Assignment Run Link, which directs users to the form within the Decisions portal.
Guide: https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/creating-custom-assignment-notification-email
3. Design your form to include the necessary approval and rejection actions.
4. After the user submits the form, use an End Form or a confirmation popup to display a custom message.

This method gives you complete control over the confirmation process and user experience. For further customization, you can adjust assignment and form settings as detailed here: https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/assignment-settings
