File Attachment Storage

I am using a Flow Execution Extension and have files attached to many of the folders. How are these file attachments stored within Decisions?

In your case, files are either attached directly to a process folder via the paper clip action on the VIEW page or uploaded through a form control like File Upload. These files will then get converted to FileReference data and stored within File Storage, and not stored in memory.
