Flow Data Structure

I am working with some flow data structures and would like to know the best way for searching through a flow structure list to return a record matching specific criteria (Similar to ‘Fetch Entities’). What is the best method for performing this action other than looping through all the records?

I use the Rule Filter step and setup the rule, then when I copy the step to use in another location I have to recreate the rule. Is there a way to use the same rule each time I use the “Rule Filter” step?
