How to Safely Move File Storage Folder from Default Path?

Greetings,

I would like to move my Decisions File Storage folder from my C: drive to another disk. Can I do this? Is there a safe way to do this?

    Hello there!

    We advise you to read our documentation on file storage to understand how objects are stored here:

    https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/file-storage?

    Note in-flight flows that could cause errors when transferring the file storage to a new path. Then, perform the following:


    1. Shut down Decisions Server (stop SHM/Decisions Service in Services)

    2. Move the File Storage folder to the desired disk/drive and note the filepath

    3. Update the Decisions settings.xml file with the new filepath in the line <FileStorageLocation>

    4. Restart Decisions services
