Null Values on External Truth Table

Hello all,
Im wondering if its is possible to set Null values to read as [Null Value] in external truth table. I tried the Override Display of Values setting in Report but the [Null Value] Display Value outputs as a string. The Truth Table reads it as such and ends up making the Rule not match my desired outcome. Is this a bug to how the setting works or am I missing something else?
